"Well here it is January 24, 2006. Sitting in my one room apartment in the city of Daegu, South Korea. Arrived here in late September and began work in October. Have been having a wonderful time. This city is beautiful, clean, excellent parks and walkways. Bike paths along the river are very nice. I am about a ten minute walk to the downtown area, which is so alive, so bright, so active and crowded. Lots of cars trying to move through the mass of bodies walking on the streets, sidewalks and everywhere. Music can be heard all over, people laughing and chatting and enjoying themselves. Street vendors are wall to wall and sell everything you can imagine. It is a great place to spend time. The transportation system is excellent, two subway lines that cover a large part of the city. Plenty of buses and amazing amount of taxis. So it has been a wonderful experience. Will continue to update more frequently now that is am set up in my spaces. Have a great time whereever you are. "

I have almost completed the 21 Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell and would say that it is definitely one of the best business leadership books I have read so far. The description of the book from Amazon.com is listed below.

We got the Neon E-Tested last night, picked up our 2006 plate sticker got it and back on the road today. That's the first time we have ever had both vehicles off the road at the same time.
We picked up a used Neon for parts just before Christmas and there definitely was not much left of it after National Radiator in Prescott took what they needed to bring ours back into shape. At 525,000 Km it now feels like a totally different vehicle and drives like a new (or at least newer)car - too bad it only shows 170,000.

They were frustrated to find that most places now a days want paid membership for web based banner making applications (free sites offer limited choices and features). Even software they tried out only had maybe 10-50 banners to choose from (not over 40,000+ like this site does) or there are way too many pop-up ads (they have no popups).

Happy New Year to everyone! Hey we had a great night last night. We went to see a band called Whistle Stop at Robbies in Ottawa and had a great time bringing in the new year. Cory was singing with the group and Michelle also sang a song with the group and also in the Karaoke sessions at the break. At about 3:00 a.m. on the way home from Ottawa after traveling about 90 km. we lost the transmission on our Suburban at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and Hwy. 2 - No Problem! We were only 3 1/2 blocks from home and the reverse gear still worked. Great backing up practice!
